2. New York City, United States

In New York City, apartments in Manhattan are particularly expensive, with downtown areas asking about 11.5 million forints (approximately 37,700 USD) per square meter for a home.

3. San Francisco, United States

San Francisco is one of the most expensive cities in the United States, where apartment prices are high due to technology companies and wealthy residents. In the downtown area, properties are sold for around 8.6 million forints (approximately 28,200 USD) per square meter.

4. London, United Kingdom

In London, downtown and surrounding districts can have extremely high apartment prices, with properties going for around 6 million forints (approximately 19,700 USD) per square meter.

5. Tokyo, Japan

Tokyo can proudly join the line when it comes to apartment prices, as properties in central districts can reach around 5.7 million forints (approximately 18,700 USD) per square meter.
